News and Notes today

Still working hard to get the site perfect:
  • Culpepper has successful surgery on his knee for a ACL, PCL, and MCL tear in his knee.

  • Moe Williams another Viking had successful surgery on his knee too, and has been put on injured reserve. Can you say hello free agent.

  • Tim Salmon a Minnesota Twin? it has been rumored that he might make a good DH. If you don't know anything about Salmon he hasn't played a full season in a long time.

  • Mike Lowell trade a brewing, the Twins might look at Mike Lowell as a third basemen for the Twins in 2006 if the Marlins pick some of his salary.
  • Steriods and MLB policy has changed it rules and upped the ante to 50 games for first time offenders. Can you say watch out and learn to read English Juan Rincon.
  • And last but not least are the Vikings better without Culpepper SI looks at the stats.
